We allow all your hotels data to be input directly thru our web sites after you sign our terms and conditions agreements. Once we have received your agreements and create your database, we start making call center, and internet reservations immediately. Then about 660,00 Travel Agents or Agencies, and Internet Travel Portals like; Orbitz ®; Travelocity ®; Expedia ® and Lodging.com ® can start making or booking World Wide Reservations usually about 10 days business days after your entry into our system. Our hotels are all part of an affiliation program and the companies' name is Hospitality Membership Systems. Having a Chain code is important, because Travel Agents assume as an affiliated hotel, that when they book a room at your hotel there is a third party administrator which over sees commission payments, which by the way is true! Quite frankly Travel Agents or Travel Portal Web Sites may have a higher competency level or a better feeling that when there guest show up, there going to get paid! This can be why Franchise Hotels have enjoyed more Travel Portal and GDS Bookings for years edging out independents for room nights. By affiliating with our chain code and or one of our national brands this should give your hotel the same psychological benefits and advantages of a franchise hotel. Theoretically this in its self should produce more room nights. We ask your hotel to reconcile and pay your travel agent commissions on or before the tenth of each month to help create a positive reputation. HMS provides optional Marketing Services which can bring your hotel market dominance and internet visibility. After all what good is your web site if nobody sees it? We can tailor a plan to get preferred placement on the top pages of 200 Internet Search Engines. Indexing and placement for your Hotel that will capture revenue streams with-out third party fees. To put a hotel on the map our in-house Agency HMS recommends a monthly paid inclusion and membership budget. The budget is normally often set at $10, dollars, per month, per rentable unit in your facility. In-example if your Hotel has 15 rooms, your budget would be 15units’ times Ten dollars equals $150.00 or 40 rooms’ times’ Ten dollars would allow a budget of $400.00 monthly. So if your cost would be $400 dollars, at an average booking of $119 dollars it takes 3-4 booked room nights to breakeven. The program guarantees our hotels 30,000 views or impressions. If your web site has the capacity to set up a travel agent view page you can ask the agents to opt-in and harvest there email accounts directly for future monthly on-property mailings, for example birthday greetings and special events. There is an incremental fee for this campaign. These get to know us campaigns can be conducted quarterly or just once for your Grand Opening. An Email Blast can be provided at will for all 57,000 travel agencies that have opted in the current data base also for our member hotels. HMS also will conduct property courtesy inspections. All our agreements have annual outs which require 90 days notice only.
We also currently have a Property Management System with a two way interface, called Hotel 2 Optimizer ® that is a quality Property Management System. H20® was originally designed by ATT® for your Front Desk check-in, Room inventory Control, PBX switchboard telephone interface, and the guest room posting from your call accounting. However you may choose to just to receive your reservation bookings via email. We are currently exploring other PMS providers and may also be able to interface with any up to date system (PMS) if your provider is willing to work with-us to develop an interface… some cost may be involved however.
